CR-V stereo

I have a 2016 Honda CD-V touring model. It came with a lame stereo that has the tip-out CD drawer and goofy, NOT user friendly presets. I put in an aftermarket stereo and now the backup camera is dark & fuzzy and when I put on the right turn signal, the volume goes WAY down. The date is frozen because the original system controlled it. I've had to a couple stereo install places and they say it's a Honda thing. Anyway, I was hoping to get a stereo that was installed in the lower LX, EX models for that year and have it installed to fix all the issues described above. I was told they don't have the same ports so it wouldn't work. Any ideas how to get everything back to normal without putting the lame stereo back in?? Thx.
