Okay so if its an Edge ED512 subwoofer is DVC2ohm correct? (has 2 sets of +/- terminals)

nope, defo just one set of connectors. I check the subs and the new ones have decent connectors, this just has the normal spade terminals. No markings on the magnet either.

It's probably single 8 or 4. Just put te */- leads from the meter(while on the ohm/resistance setting) onto the terminals of your sub, and see what it reads.
