Stock Z06 Runs 10's

Ya, despite a good bit of oversteer (not nearly as much as that **** viper though, sucks to not have any sort of traction control) its gotten amazing reviews as a track car. If anyone here watches Top Gear, it is one of the few American made muscle cars they HAVENT ripped apart (I think that list also includes the Ford GT and.... well.... cant think of anything else hah). They took a ginormous dump on the new Ford Shelby GT500 though.
The host of the show bought the Ford GT because he was in love with it. But he ended up running into reliability issues and got rid of it. But he loved it when he drove it on the show.

Yea whoa whoa whoa there... I know for a fact the only Honda reliability problem thats major is my year Accord's failing automatic transmission. Some of the s2k's have a 2nd gear grind after a while but nothing horrible. Chevy more reliable than Honda? HAH!
The Auto's have always been a weak link in the trannies. And syncros can go out due to abuse (although i'm not denying that it might be an s2k issue). Hondas have some of the best feeling manual transmissions on the market.

Not true, late 80's Honda's and Acura's used bushings instead of bearings in the distibutor for the rotor. These bushings wore out and caused the coils to ground out and basically create a birds nest of wire under your cap. Coils were impossible to find so new distributor was the only way to go.

New Distributor at the time = $380 and a 3 yr. waiting list. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

Thank god for machine shops.

LOL we're not talking Chevy here. We're talking a Z06. Big difference! Especially with the c6 z06. Its frame and engine are completely different than the c6 corvette.

My friends street/strip Foxbody was just under 3K. The '03/'04 Cobra's are about 4,000 lbs. And joshpoints, please explain what it is you're trying to say. I'm dying to hear this one. 'Z06' is completely different from GM. And the Frame used on the C6 is different than the.. C6 frame? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
