ok, question. I have a factory jbl system in my 01 landcruiser. Would it be wise when i put in the 9833 to bypass the factory amp and run h/u power to the speakers or....should connect the 9833 to the amp? I've found the correct harness to do it, just need to know if this is a no no or what? thanks

it won't sound too good through the factory amp i've heard. Otherwise check the ohm ratings on the speakers, see if they are 8-10ohm speakers, the deck will only be able to give half it's power then. Otherwise they might be 4ohm. idk.

if you use the preouts on the deck to control the amplifer.. than it might osund ok. But double amping the system will sound like poo.

If you have the right integration harness, go for it.

the integration harness i've used on the toyotas usually sounds horrible... it's the one that has 4 rca's on it that plugs into the back of the radio and plugs into the factory plug... we usually bypass the amp as long as the speakers are around 4 ohms...
