Stock speakers and test tones

This evening I got my kicker CVR 12" hooked up my PAC lP7-2 loc and my RF5001xd amp connected. Tomorrow I need to tune them. My issue is I want to figure out how to set LOC gain as well as tune my amp. I have a DMM and can download some test tones but my stock speakers will still be hooked up. Will a 50hz tone hurt them while I adjust the amp and LOC output volts. I see tons of posts on doing this I'm just concerned with having stock speakers connected while using test tones. Any suggestions?

You should be putting filters on the mids to keep the bass out of them. Bass blockers. Find out how low you want them to play, make sure the sub plays that high. Get the bass blocker that matches.

So to tune my mono amp using tones I have to buy bass blockers?

If you don't want it to sound like total crap you won't want the subs and the mids playing the same thing
