I was bored and I realized that I had a spare set of 6x9s that I removed from my car, and I also had a 1200W amp not hooked up.
I found an old computer, removed the power supply, found a 12v rail, spliced the wires to the amp, turned on the computer which powered up the amp, plugged my laptop into the amp through a 3.5mm/RCA converter, and played some tones through them at full power.
Please note, I know due to the fact that the one speaker only presented a 4-ohm load, and the severe amperage limitation of the power supply, that it didn't really see 1200W, I was just excited to blow it up, so don't mind the commentary at the beginning //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It's not a wall socket, but it entertained me for a while
P.S. Yes, the room is dirty as hell, I know
