If it's dropping low it's never a good thing
Hmm... the only time I've ever seen a sub go "bonkers" is when their put to a wall socket....and the subs start to go bonkers. I unplug my ipod, but they don't stop...
Try and describe any noises/smells with detail....suggestions?
well if you toasted your voice coils then your gonna need a recone again. and you should probably stop turning your shit on or it might **** up your amp too.i burned the coils a bit because i wired them out of phase...because i'm an idiot. So what is the problem now? I've even got the gain turned WAYY down and it does the exact same thing.
The subs pump up and down without music, and it sounds REALLY bad. Doesn't matter what the gain is at, it does it at the same volume (the noise the sound makes not the volume on the head unit)
it was just a bit, i can play it fine until i hit about 10 on the volume knob then thats when they spazwell if you toasted your voice coils then your gonna need a recone again. and you should probably stop turning your shit on or it might **** up your amp too.
the wiring for my amp is correct, its the first thing I checkedIf the subs are moving without any input it may be in your wiring(amp). Are they moving at like a 60hz cycle and going making a wa wa wa noise?
