Stinger vs Scosche

I just bought some Stinger Custom Pro 4 gauge wire. I had Scosche EFX 5 gauge wire in that was bought from Meijers in one of their cheap install packages when I had my old car. I swapped it over to my new car and now Im just doing a serious install. The Scosche EFX 5 gauge is the same exact size and the Stinger Custom Pro 4 gauge wire. Except the Stinger cost way more. Thats bullshit. The scosche even has a thicker jacket for more shielding so technically its better. WTF

thicker jacket = less wire. And plus, i am willing to bet the Scosche has less strand count and that it will handle less amps.

Meh? Stinger is supposed to make decent stuff. I atleast expected some quality that wasnt in the Walmart branded wire.

I compared actual wire not with the jacket. The Scosche wire had the same diameter in wire that the Stinger had, but also had a thicker jacket which makes it more durable than the Stinger.

wrong. stinger has more strands and power wire isnt sheilded. more strands = more current.

^ I know what Knu is. It was for the first subs I ever had. Just something other than no bass from a stock Saturn SL2 system. I will admit my first subs were some Pep Boys blue light special garbage. I still have them in my garage.
