stinger voltmeter wiring.

I just mounted my voltmeter but the only free space i had was below my window controls on my driver door. Is it ok that i just tapped into the Main power feed for the electric windows?
i could really care less on what kinda of voltage i have at my electric window. I put them right on the battery before the amp...

Why not just in the amp terminals? I have a fuse holder with the voltage meter and I just put the ground wire into the ground terminal of my amp.

The reason i put it there is because i wanted it visible from the drivers seat , and i see no difference in voltage underhood and at the amps. But i will be removing it pretty soon though , **** is too bright at night. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Ground it somewhere and just tap the power into your REM wire
remote wire doesn't have any current draw on it though , if your amps are getting low voltage but the rest of the car is getting good voltage , the guage will never show it , proper way is to connect them right to the power terminals of the amp , which is what i will be doing when i relocate it. It's just too **** bright right there at night.
