stinger spc 5010 capacitor question

I was planning on buying one of these to stiffen/stabilize my Orion hcca 2500 for when I'm pushing it hard.. my question is why does it have a remote terminal? Is that just a turn on "trigger" for multi-amp use? I've NEVER seen a cap with a remote terminal. It CAN'T need a remote in to turn it on? Any help would be appreciated.

Apparently all hybrid caps have a remote terminal.. Anyone know why??

Shite.. It is a remote turn on for the volt disp meter on the cap. thats a pain in my ace. well, I answered my own question anyway.

Don't bother buy a batt, that cap will not stabilize that amp for any longer than 1 second literally.
