still getting voltage drop

low 10's??? that sucks. i got a stock 70A alt and i only drop to 10.5V thats w/ 1500W sub amp and 150W comp amp.

not to steal the thread...halfway same topic. if i was to get a good battery (optima or something) and stick w/ the stock alt would this help my voltage drops any? the biggest alt i can get for my car is a 90A and 20 extra amps just isn't worth the $. eventually i'm gonna fabricate a bracket and find me a 110A to wire in there w/ the other //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

 
You will get a little bit of improvement but your alternator still isnt going to be able to keep up with the load beng drawn on the battery. You may want to see about putting a deep cycle in the trunk which you will have to slow charge every know and then, that will help keep the voltage sustained for a while.
