Not true dude. Been using my 4k2d daily for about a year and zero problems. Very strong and stays cool. 1/0 handles a shit load of current in a 6-10 inch run from the battery.

Did a test with our 4k2d that had a single 20" run of 1/0 and we doubled it to 15" of double 1/0 from batteries. How much power and spl did you think we gained?

We gained 300w and .3db on the peak side. And the single 1/0 run never got warm. You've got to keep in mind that any amp never flows full current 100% of the time since music is dynamic.

But what does shock me is I've seen people with this amp running 4 gauge.

And considering that at loud levels que human ear can barely notice a 1dB difference, I assume this doubling couldnt be heard, being noticed only on the meters.

They both seem to be amazing amps, would love to run either company, but I don't need anything more than I have, if I did however SD and Stetsom would be at the top of my list for sub amps.
