Stereo only playing on one side?

My wife drives a '98 Mitsubishi Eclipse with an OEM Infinity CD player and all of the sudden the sound only comes out of the speakers on the right...it is also a bit distorted and interestingly has an audible sound (like de-de-de-de-de-de) that is in sync with the RPM's.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

I've checked all the fuses, yanked the unit out to inspect the wiring for damage and used some canned air on the connections. I'm out of ideas. Can anyone here help me...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

Edit: I think the ECM is bad (don't think it matters but thought I'd mention it)

Update: I found out what was wrong, somehow the plug going into the amp got knocked loose and was only half-way plugged in...Ha!
