Starting to lift....

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif No offense but you are one skinny mother fucker....
If I were in your position, I would do a lot of research on building muscle mass (which I assume you are trying to do) and figure out a good routine and keep track of what you work out and what not. You might want to look into getting some kind of supplement to help you build that mass because with that weight and height you probably have a very low percent of body fat (or muscle mass for that matter) and could have a hard time adding mass with nothing to work with.

I was skinny too in high school. It's called a high metabolism+ I was in cross country. My metabolism is finally dropping a little bit to where I can put on weight.

Joshpoints, how am I full of BS. I worked up every **** pound I can bench, and it wasnt easy, I got A MASSIVE armlength to press that weight
Ask anyone involved in lifting for real, 250, 295 even, isnt an unbelievable figure

Sorry when you're 16 it is unbelievable and I think your are full of BS. Oh I'm in lifting and you don't see any 16 year olds lifting 295, unless you were juicing and then it's understandable. Especially at 6 foot 4. Most strong benchers are short and for obvious reasons.

I have yet to see someone post some entirely wrong information, but reading is always good...
I have noticed your workout log, coming along fairly good there, huh man?
For one, the person who posted that they do

Tuesday: CHest

Wednesday: Shoulder, abs....

Thursday: Arms

Friday: Back

That's working your upperbody too much without rest. Second, your muscles need 72 hrs to heal, not 1 day. My muscles are usually sore for 24-36 hrs. Not sore as in I can't move them, but sore as in I can tell I worked out. There is more information that I believe to be mis-information, but I don't feel like going over it. To tell you the truth, he shouldn't worry about creatine yet. He's practically new to lifting, if anything, he might want to take protein shakes, or simply up his protein intake through meats. Yes my workout is coming along good, thanks. Hopefully when I finish cutting I'll be able to gain more strength. Because we all know that it's hard to cut and gain strength at the same time, due to the lack of large amounts of food going through the body. But anyhow, for anyone looking for advice on lifting, you really need to go to http://www.bodybuilding.com

No, no it isn't. My family: My brother has state records, 325 when he was 15 years old. Look it up if you want, Zach Primrose, NY. My father is 52 and still benches 335. My other brother who was never serious into lifting, can put up 275.

Call it good genes, hell say theres no gravity in my weightroom, but dont call BS

BTW, I had been liftin for 3 years by the time I was 16, straight, 5 or 6 days a week(Bad for you I know) So you calling BS is really a shot at m sack here...

I'd have to agree on doing chest and then shoulders the next day. Chest is pretty hard on the shoulders. Doing shoulders before chest would be even worse and really asking for an injury. I'm cutting back my workouts. I was overtraining in a few different ways.

I hit my legs so hard I give them a week to recover because I'm afraid of getting an injury. Legs give me more nausea and light headedness than any other muscle group.

Sorry I still don't believe you. Your long arms and low weight are both working against you. To be 16 6'4" with long arms and low body weight lifting 295. I've never seen someone 16 at that height lift that much. Your test levels aren't high at 13 and even 14 so were your parents supplementing a little something you didn't know about?

There's a guy in my gym that's about my size 5'7-5'9, probably weighs no more than 150 lbs and he benches close to 300 lbs. Genetics make a big difference. Some people are good at benching while others **** at it.

Shut up, you're small //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif
