Starting the 4th order

One pic looks like the subs are on the floor but then another says "sub wall" like they'll be on a slant.
Either is cool, but it woul dbe best if you can get them all on the same plane.
Well its the 3 options I have to play with

1) on the floor raised 8'' from the highest point

2) at a slant from the back wall

3) 4 on each side facing in

but from what your saying, the best bet would be all on the floor?

Is that green area your final decison on port placement? If it is, I'd rather see them on the floor. But the slant works too. Don't split them though. Keep them all on the same baffle.

Only other option I can see for a proper port placement would be straight down the middle where the back seat has folding cupholders

SO I have 50sg ft for sale:greedy: (2 25sqft spool's)!! have pics up on a bit of the hatch. Beginning templates for the MDF floor momentarily. Hope to get the whole floor put in tomorrow.

Got the floor in. Missing one piece on the far end which is cut, just not glued in yet.

c pillar flat wall will be louder...
Not enough room for a c-pillar wall.

Changed the design up a bit today. Planned to put in the second layer of flooring, but ended up taking measurements and deciding that I would put the subs on the floor. I removed the rear ac/heater unit (seen in the pics on the right side of the vehicle) which gave me enough room to do 4 subs in a line:

|O O O O|

|O O O O|

Also leaves enough room do add 4 more if I so choose at a later time. Luckily I still had about 20sqft of deadener laying around after selling most of it off!!

Been a while since I updated this build thread. Probably putting in roughly 4 hours of work a day on it.. and I have found myself being less impressed with the measurements as I went along so I have torn it apart 3 times. I believe Im Completely satisfied with the current layout. Not a LOT of work left, but another week atleast. Decided Im running the subs inverted @ 7cuft sealed, and 24 (roughly 21 after displacement) ported. I picked up a sheet of pvc to put a kerfing affect on the slotted port down the road.

Looks good man, like the design
Thanks. As you can tell I have just been winging it as I have changed my design idea atleast 3 times throughout the build. But this project is currently on hold for about a week. Had a request from my brother to build him a box for a Mojo 15. Going to get started on it tomorrow. Just standard 5.7cu (4.5 after displacements) tuned to 36:

All 90's will be fiberglassed and rounded out w/ port demeled and rounded. Still waiting to hear from him but the outside may get a few coats of resin and a shot of paint.
