Starting the 4th order

Got the back gutted. Tore out the 3rd row seat, washed the flooring and side walls, then began laying down Audio Technix sound deadener.. Only 100sq ft if it left, hope its enough:laugh:

After laying all the deadener in Im going to build a MDF floor using liguid nails and possibly ?sheetrock screws? The indentation towards the rear bumper is 6''Lx46''W, which is a perfect fit for my C&D batt's. The plan at this time is to have 8 vvx-12's in a 4th order wall.

going to run my 2 dtr1.3400's @ .5ohms, so roughly 7800watts total (950ish per sub).. not bad for a 4 door daily imo.

opinions on best sub placement?? @double 07; @TaylorFade; or anyone else that knows their stuff! Thanks! (obviously the green portion is a general idea of where i plan to put the port.)

just do a flat c pillar wall, port center or on the drivers side.

and dont worry about the size of the wall. build the shell as big as possible and as strong as possible. then figure out the volume/tuning. also, walls need to be much larger than the avg enclosure size. for you I would want like 20-30 cu ft for 8 12s...

had RIDICULOUS rattle issue with just 4.. Lol, I can see how it is a bit overboard but its a attempt to dull the exterior noise.

ALL deadener in!!! lol, have a bandaid on just about every finger! right at 100sq ft of Audio Technix in the cargo area.. SO I have 50sg ft for sale:greedy: (2 25sqft spool's)!! have pics up on a bit of the hatch. Beginning templates for the MDF floor momentarily. Hope to get the whole floor put in tomorrow.

I REALLY began considering gloves after about the 4th cut which was kinda deep.. but figured "F' it, made it this far"
