Starting over

I've had a small setup in my Trailblazer for the last 5-6 years. Deployments and training cycles out of the way now, I wanna start fresh. Here's my budget:

HU- might keep my Pioneer DEH-P8850MP, but maybe upgrade to the 80PRS.: $300 max

Need a solid 4 channel amp that can get me 75-100 RMS to my components. Currently running a RF T400-4 (the old school one.): $500 ish

Keeping my Polk MOMO components for now...but will upgrade if it fits well enough: $200-250 per pair max.

Will keep the 2 channel amp bridged to my single 12" sub (RF T400-2, bridged), but I think I will get rid of the sub in exchange for a couple 10" (would be nice if I could get a box built to enjoy both rock and R&B). $200-300 for subs and box.

Wanna take a shot at sound deadener for my doors. Tired of the distortion. $150

All the wiring is Knuconcepts, including the RCA's. Unless there's a reason, I'm not changing it out. Trimming the ends, that's about it.

Looking to do a small SQ system (300-400 RMS to the comps, 300-400 RMS to the sub or subs). If there's anything that could be added to help, by all means add it, I am already considering a signal processor...but after I learn what it is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Looking for all you overly experienced folks to give me some advice and direction...and PLEASE, no arguing over what may or may not be better as far as brand, style, etc.

Commence!

Agreed, so I need to know the best way to get the best of both worlds as far as crisp bass from rock and jazz along with some soft boominess from my R&B and gospel. Open to suggestions either way, but I'm guessing a custom box build will be in order. Still need help with that too.

get one of those clone 4 channel amps, they do rated (125w @4 and 200w @ 2 usually) and are about half the price you're talking (500). Use the left over money you saved there on subs, 200-300 is probably the cost for the sub alone if you want something quality. the box (if quality made) will be about 200 too

That is a nice budget for what you are looking for. Here is what I recommend for an amp:

PHD 4075 4 Channel Amplifier would sound great with those polks and is only half of your budget for an amp.

I would recommend 2 packs of this: (this is where the money saved from the amp comes in)

Second Skin Damplifier Pro 20 SQ FT Trunk Pack

For a sub I would recommend getting a new amp if you are wanting it to be louder. However, Ii you are wanting to keep some decent bass and up the SQ factor this sub in a speced box would sound sound great on the amp you have.

PHD Studio FB 10.1 10" Subwoofer

That's a nice amp, any other reviews on it from the spectators here?

Also, I can definitely do a custom box with my budget. I left about 300 bucks wiggle room. However, if I'm keeping the current sub amp, that clears another little bit. I don't need it louder, there's enough airspace in the back for that. Guess I'll look into those 10" you mentioned. Anything else? What about this sound processor thing?

Sound processors are pricey especially for a good one you are looking at around $500. Is that in the budget?
