I'm only overlaping the fg mat about 1/2 an inch from the factory panel..

Part of me though is thinking I did all the above for nothing when I can just cover the factory panel with fabric and fg it most likely LOL

 
yeah. it just depends on whether or not you LOVE your car. if you dont give a fark, go for it. chop up the kick. if its a nice ride, like mine, take the necessary precautions. good luck.

 
it's a door panel that im putting kick pods on.. im doing this to get the ****ned water away from my speakers. I had frozen ice stuck to my $280 mmat comps!!
