listen man. theres no difference at this point between the 5901 and smart start. i just talked to dei rep and he said within the next few months they are making it to where if ur dor gets opened, u see a door open on ur iphone. the alarm goes off so does ur iphone. u go into bestbuy and get the smart start for 499 installed. that doesnt include the bypass, but thats 150, which then includes bypass, key coding, and interface, with install. so ur looking at typically 650 installed out the door. with guarantted lifetime ownership of the car its in. that guy lied to u, or misunderstood.

this thing is sick I just installed one in someones car and we went like 10 mi down the road and started it it was a pretty cool thing to see in action.

u can turn it off. its the same as remote start. and that wont happen, u have to actually download the viper start smart app. then go into the app to start it and turn it off, lock and unlock
