stacks for my truck

It looked lifted pretty good in his avitar I doubt he'll get water in the intake...the exhaust is quite a bit lower on a vehicle unless he goes with some nice stacks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Well the bigger problem is browning the distributor on the fords, the dist. upfront makes it much more vulnerable to water logging. And trust me if you are going to be going to be going through water that deep the exhaust is the last thing you need to worry about.

its a mud truck mostly....only time it will be on the road is on the weekends sometimes. And i know its not a diesel but it will still look and sound good lol. My friend put one on his yota and got all kinds of attention.
He'd have caught my attention as well.

While I was laughing like a hyena at how moronic that must look.

yea im going to run the 2 1/4" pipe into each stack and put a rain cap on the 2 1/4". Im going to have a miter cut (45 degree angle) for the top. As i said its mostly a offroad truck. So im going with a john deere paintjob to lol. So its only gonna cost about $50-$60 to throw a paintjob on it. No body work or nothing cuz chances are its going to have more dents. Ill have a pic i painted up of what it will look like in a little while.

Where does it say 5" pipes? The 2.25-2.5 would be best....As far as the John Deere Paint that will be pretty cool and creative...I'd follow the theme out even more maybe with some John Deere graphics and such you can find lots of accesories on ebay like decals...floor mats...steering wheel covers etc....don't go overboard though...and make it gaudy.....It would be sorta like the Harley Davison trucks.....quite unique

I don't mind the stacks on the diesel, but never really been a big fan of them on gassers. 2.25" would probably be the best performance wise and such for your truck but I think even 4" ones look too small. If you want the bigger pipe you should be able to find it fairly reasonably priced at a local heavy duty truck shop or whatever. John Deere paint will probably look cool too, but come on we both know that a nice IH red will look Mucho better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

yeah the pipe diameter would be small 2.25 would be best if motor is stock...you may want to invest in a 4-5" shroud.....something just big enough to slip around the glass pack ...you mentioned you were on a budget...so you'd probally just want to paint it with high temp paint...maybe the yellow used in John Deere to help offset the green...plus the shroud will help deter heat so it won't get so hot....if it is accidently touched....

Shroud is a good idea, will bulk it up a bit too and could maybe throw a big 4" or so 45° turnout on the top maybe for looks.

Waiting for pics when this is done //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif and I still wanna see it in IH red instead of JD green lol

Yea im going to paint big john deere symbols on the doors and get custom decals for the hood that says john deere model F-100. Here is a crappy draw up of what it will look like.

looks like a fun truck to ride around in. What size lift and tires do you have one it, looks like 8" and 38's maybe. Wish I had something like that to just blast around in. Does it have a 351 in it or a 302? and biggest question auto or stick?
