That's overdoing it. Look for a solid 200wrms amp to attach to them. Almost as bad as me trying to attach a 600 watt PA amp to my Rainbows.

im assuming I-5 is a highway

the speed ur car travels dont make the speakers any less loud, it raises the sound floor they have to overcome...

get sound deadening, or bigger power powerful amps/speakers

its not just on the interstate. i was sitting still and it still did it.

its obvious that road noice is not the culprit. even so, cdt components should be able to overcome it.
