I didnt think DD subs could move this much air and play as low as they are this stiff. I've only got to play with them for about 20 minutes. Shes already doing hair tricks.

Its a low end monster now. The car has a few layers of deadener and its acting like I've done nothing to it. Numbers are a tick better then the XLs but doing it way lower. 27-37hz instead of 45-50hz. I call that a win. The added batts and M4a should bring it over the top.

I finally finished this build and I couldn't be happier that it's done. I made a few changes over the past few weeks and finished it.

Alpine CDA-117 turned into a 80PRS

The only other change I'm even considering is going from the HSK XLs to the Mille.

i love the Mille but for accuracy, not output. the high energy series is louder.

I'm think I would like to take a lose in output if I gained accuracy. Not that these are bad in anyway but there is always room for improvement. I find myself having the subs backed off now more than not.

I just realized I started this log 2 years ago. Anyway, got some RTA time in. 1/3 smooth average front seats. There is a db here and there on L/R that I can't fix but it's very close. It's down about 8-10db but sounds amazing. Perfect daily driver, if I want to demo all I have to do is change the EQ. View attachment 26548567
