Hey guys, I'm very happy to join this forum! and this is my first thread! Alright so I'm an SQ man and was wondering what kind of sub is the best in sound quality, by doing my own research,I'm aiming right now at Ascendant Audio, they seem to be the best according to SQ/still gets kinda loud/gets LOW, but could someone tell me if I'm on the right track?, so I'd like to see what you people think and it what's the best subwoofer for me as I know many of you have experienced many many subwoofer... thx alot. now this is my first project (first car audio system) and I started pretty well I beleive, right now I'm only waiting for the polk momo C400.4 amplifier and my mids and highs are perfect SQ, MMC5250 in front, and MMC690 in back with the C400.4(soon). very glad with those smooth and VERY clear music with some little punches, now I need SAME THING but for like 15hz to let say..100hz-150hz as my speakers handle 60hz to 20khz very well for now, my goal is to acheive an SQ SYSTEM with the WIDEST frequency response as possible, and still gets loud in all the frenquencies to the point that I wanna feel some NICE:awesome: massage that the lowsss give and something that hits:readytog: too, but massage comes first , with only 1 15", or 1 18", if I can fit it in my car. but 15" is more confortable in my case..

Asendant avalanche, Re XXX, SI Mag, Eclipse Ti, diamond audio d9/tdx, you have alot of opinions here....more than i can list but just look around around the forums

eclipse ti is not an sq sub. its a sloppy, muddy spl sub, regardless of enclosure. check out the brahma at http://www.adireaudio.com

doesnt sound like you really want a full on SQ setup. but my vote goes to the w6v2

definatly an Atlas or an Avalanche depending on the power you give it. Im not sure which one of the newer models would fit right but if you want sq, ascendant audio isnt a bad choice.

My choice would have to go with an IDmaxv3. Those get lows and sound amazing, very good sub. The JLaudiow6v2 would also be nice.

thx alot for the inputs ... but hey does a sub with "extremely flat frequency response" means amazing SQ with very natural sounding music? SI Mag IMO, this is one of the best subs ive ever heard, and you say you want a massage this sub will give u one. and if run it sealed the sq is just AMAZING ever ported sound awesome as well but your may hurt after awhile i know mine did.

hey man where are those subs... whats there official site and whats there brand? I have no clue what is the sub you mentioned and there is nothing on google on it.... thx

RE XXX, JL w7,eD 15a, older claw basket mag,cant think of any other really good setups ive heard, the XXX was louder but sq was nowhere near as good. As a matter of fact sq was better than all of them.It was louder than all teh setups except the xxx and 15a.
