well its my new car and i love it but no system. My last truck had 2 12l7's off two bxi2008b strapped and it slammed. i do howver want something more suttle for this setup. i have a few ideas ill post but any suggestions are wanted!!

alpine w-205 double din up front

cdt comps (havent heard much on em please elaborate if you know)

cdt coaxes in the rear

cdt 6x9 in the rear deck

all run off a hifonics zues 680 watt 4 channel

a 10w6v2 runn off a hifonics brutus 1208b(would love the 13 but dont know ifthe difference is worth the price or hassle due to enclosure size. i want to fiberglass it into the side pocket of my trunk

please i have never heard these speakers or sub but i am all about sq here not spl but thats always a plus. the enclosure will be sealed the whole time no exceptions. if you guys think some different equiptment would work better please lmk thanks

so high end components in the front doors only and thats it? seems kinda week to not put in the rear door or deck speakers. i wanted to put high end or pretty nice speakers al around. cdt has a pair for 399 on sale for 250 i was lookin to do those components front and rear

Two speakers up front properly tuned and powered can get very loud and sound much better than a large amount of speakers scattered around a vehicle.

A pair of speakers up front will also help you keep a stereo image up front where it belongs instead in the rear of the vehicle. A nice front stage can also be appreciated by your passengers. I can't tell you how much I HATE riding in a vehicle where the driver is playing music full blast and my ears are getting blasted out from the 6x9 quad-axial driver that's only inches away. It's very annoying for me to ride in a vehicle with rear speakers, especially when I'm in the back.

ok thanks for the help guys. thouhgt about puttin 6.5 in subs in the deck as well. now either of you guys ever use cdt? are they any good and where would i buy hertz components from it seems that the internet is very limited.

C'mon go big or go home. I've done 8's in the rear deck of the 4th gen alti, and have had 8's in the rear deck of my 3rd gen, but I'm gonna go with 10's soon. Components up front with just a sub in the trunk or IB subs in the rear deck is plenty in the 4th gen. Or go with a 3-way front stage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

well the speaker mountin is a pain im havin to make their special triangular/circle mounts for the 6.5's up front and im goin to put mid bass drivers in the rear. i dont want to tear up the rear deck tho thats why i was hopin to only do 6x9's. doo you have any pics of your alti install? if so id love to see them and how you did things

like it? no rear speakers seems to be the trend here. are they just un needed o will they compromise the sound?
sound stage is up front...screw the backseat passengers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I havent had rear speakers since 2000
