^ I am sure the 9100 is top notch, but the 9500's sound good enough for me, I guess I am just deaf to sub SQ or something, or I just really like the way 9500's sound. Cuz DJman's 2 9515's last night on a 20.1 at 1ohm rocked, as so did his front stage.

Subs are just popular because it's what n00bs think of when they think car audio.

15 FI Q ported or 2 15 ID Q sealed? What is the verdict on the IDQs?

IDQ's are the shit, just not loud. If your looking for loud SQ, go with the IDMAX's or all the other subs listed, but for pure SQ, not a buttload of output, I'd go with an IDQ for sure.

no it would get loud just not nearly as loud as 2 15 "SQL" subs named in here, they're totally different subs. IDQ's are pure SQ, I had one in a sealed box for a while, pretty awesome, nice and accurate, but not loud at all. I am sure you'd get plenty of output with 2 ported 15's though. I love IDQ's
