For real, he always talks about how bad the Q is and how it doesnt match up to the Mag by anymeans... I heard DJ mans 9515's tonight, and those sounded awesome! I can't imagine how good the 9100's sound....

I never said it sounded bad. The OP said it wasnt good enough for him. The mag has had better review...that is what I said.

NOW. You where correct. I talked to the kid who ran the DD's, thay where 9500's. I thought they where 9100's. My Mistake. Because they all look alike I ASSumed the other installs I had heard where the same. I do have a habit of doing that. Agian, my mistake.

i liked them. i think they are a good sounding woofer, but dont have that really natural sounding bass. i had trouble getting them to take the abuse of being in my boat with like 1400 watts at full tilt and no down time.

9100's can sound decent...but if the Q wasnt good enough for him I doubt the DD will...I wouldnt think the Q sounds that bad.

Q sounds that bad, by bad you ment DD.

And I was positive you mixed the 9500 with the 9100. Which btw 9500 can have good SQ if set up right, which is prob why you got it confused with an SQ sub....
