Digital Designs 9100 series, I have heard good things, but barely anyone runs them due to the fact that they cost so much.... But if you are not on a budget I would look into it, that and the Aura MR series are bad ***.

9100's can sound decent...but if the Q wasnt good enough for him I doubt the DD will...I wouldnt think the Q sounds that bad.

I highly doubt you have ever heard a 9100 series woofer, or even the old ones.... You are thinking of another series I am almost positive.

lol at you saying the Q can't sound that bad... as if the 9100 woofers were bad subs. You obviously don't know what your talking about.

I heard two 9115's in a F-350 and OMG! I was in love! These are my favorite subs in the world! But they are expensive. EVerything was soo loud but sooo clear. I swear i almost orgasmed. DD > all.

I've owned a 3512...which is bassed on the 9100 series IIRC and heard 3 or 4 set ups with 9100 series woofers.

There isnt a single DD woofer that is SQ oriented .If you think DD woofers are for SQ set ups you havent heard many SQ oriented woofers.

That isnt to say DD woofers cant sound good...but the nature of the beast just isnt the same.

T3 TSS, DD 25s and 35s

no DD should ever be in a sealed box. you are killing so much of its potential by doing so. and the 2500s and 3500s sound awesome and have some serious output, but they dont compare to the w6v2 or d9 when it comes to SQ. the d9 isnt very natural sounding to me, but take a listen to it and see what you think. i would also look into a 13w6v2 if you are going more on the 1k watt side.

I'd also look into TC Sounds, heard nothing but good about them. (TC 3000 is the model thats in your price range) Well good luck.

So your trying to tell me the 9100 series is not sq oriented, its just an spl sub and the 3512 and 9112 based off eachother wtf, have you lost it? Totally different subs. And even if they were, your comparing your experience with a 3512 like it has anything to do with a 9112, if they are based off eachother, how so? Most DD woofers are SPL beasts but the 9112 is made to be what it is, an SQ sub. I highly doubt you have heard 3 or 4 set ups with a 91anything lol. The sub costs **** near 1,000 dollars not so many people have them.......

my last subs were rl-ps, and the w7 is better at everything, not sure thats saying much but theyre the subs ive owned.id like to try a max and an si.no boom or slop from the w7?
