SQ sub? What to look for

What is best to look at when comparing SQ subs, like what T/S parameters tell you that it is a good SQ sub? I know the question is kinda vague since it can be install dependant, but just in general.

Long story short; none. The T/S params don't encompass things like distortion, tonal accuracy, etc etc.

Best thing to do is read reviews and listen to as many as possible before you purchase.

I agree go out and test drive as many as possible that you like. Look at it like buying a car, you wouldn't just go off specs to choose a car. You would test drive it , look around for the best deal then test drive some more till you find the one that suits your needs. Just my 2 cents.
