I'm confused

I am looking to get a 10 capable of handling 800rms and dual 4 or 1 ohm for a 1.5 cu.ft box tuned to 30 hz. My two choices right now are Audiobahn AW1006T and SPL SPLW10. But I keep reading about the the Type R's. The specs say they can only handle 500 rms, but yet people are saying they put way more to them. Whats the deal? Will a 10in Type R handle 800rms? Thanks

those new type r's look soooo hot! no but seriously, the excursion on those things is pretty sweet, not to mention how awesome their surrounds look, and how good they sound (pending enclosure and amp)
