like i said if you want some quality subs, look into critical mass ul (i saw one for sale last week here) or some lms ultra. They aren't cheap by any mean but they are great quality sq subs than can probably get descently loud (2500watt rms or rating)

well, when the subject is covered 5-10 times a day, EVERYDAY you'd think there would be a point where searching would be relevant.

I have a alpine w203. My experience is real limited as I've only owned one system and It's all JL. So when I come here and I hear tons of diffrent brands tossed out, It makes me wonder Is there better quality gear out there than what I have been exposed to. Also I mean It's hard to get a chance to audition brands. Most shops do carry alotta high end brands and if they do you can only listen to thier lower tier gear.

Well 1.5k budget for sub aren't conditions we see daily . The guy obviously don't want to take 10ft/cu either.

Most people asking for sq subs don't have a high budget. So if he does search, he might don't find an answe to HIS question

If nobody ever asked questions... the forum would be dead, is that what you want?
