Excellent choices. McCartney's bass on Abbey Road was genius.
Jennifer Warnes' Famous Blue Raincoat is a must-have. Probably the cleanest CD I've ever heard.
Also, Chili Peppers' Californication is a great demo for midbass.

Also Bullet for my Valentine is ridiculous, there guitarist is rated #3 in guitar world mag or something IIRC, but they have 2 leads plus a bass. Sounds amazing

Californication is brilliant & again I can't emphasis Hotel California enough.
