SQ deck, opinions needed

Turning the gain up on your tweeter amp wouldn't necessarily clip your amp uless your amp is a POS and I don't think your amp is a POS.
well if i had an Oscope, i may be able to turn it up a lil more without clipping it, but i dont, i only have a DMM, so i refuse to go past 17.3V

Lol, your dmm isnt going to be that far off...you're crazy.
well ive just heard that you can get a little more outta it when you set with an oscope. ive never actually done it, so i dont know for sure. but i was just saying, thats the ONLY way ill turn my gains up any higher. i didnt spend $500 on comps for nothing

How do you know that your tweets are getting their max power? Somehow I doubt that they'd be this quiet on a $500 dollar set...If you're setting the gains for your highs, why are you using a dmm anyways, why don't you just set the gains by ear? You'll get more of the speakers potential that way, or don't you know what distortion sounds like?
