amplifiers should just simply be amplifying the signal, not changing the signal in any way. so given to amps have the same power output they should sound the same.
if two amps sound different one is broken, or just really shitty to begin with.

uHmm, interesting I wondered of this my self, what can be the difference between two amps in the same category? I mean like you said there just suppose to amplify the signal, so the more accurately its amplified the better the amp? Although I read somewhere that a better amp in the same league should be able give you the suggested or tested amount of power consistently, but amplifiers like that can do that cost about 2k so I guess the ones that can moderately put out continuous rated power are the better amps?

Good advice. The best I have heard so far on SQ. It's more about the speakers.
