the quality in sound can vary from amp to amp...depending on the signal to noise ...thd......damping factor ...efficency....etc. ....don't expect any better SQ out of name brand entry level amps...if you are seeking true SQ and want new it will cost...most cheaper amps will give you decent SQ I'd look into something about 100 x 4 so you have good headroom....

I'd look for a CEA compliant amp that does as much power as possible within the budget. From there you set the gains pretty far on the low side. The amp will never clip, you will never have audible distortion and with the low gain setting noise shouldn't be anything of an issue either. That is the recipe for champagne SQ on a beer budget as far as amps go. I'd focus on speakers and put my money there.
