Looks nice. Will only use Birch from now on. Just so much better looking plus its light and stronger then mdf..Hater
24th works fine if you plan to cover it with carpet. If you want to paint or stain then use a 44 or 60th blade to avoid splintering.is there a certain type of saw-blade that you have to use to cut birch? i never used birch before it will be my first time lol.
Good advice. I just have a rough cut blade on my saw and had some minor splintering. Once I sand it a bit it shouldn't be too noticeable.24th works fine if you plan to cover it with carpet. If you want to paint or stain then use a 44 or 60th blade to avoid splintering.

Thanks a lot man. Always been a bit afraid to post up some of my box builds . Got a lot of sanding and filling to do yet but I am definitely leaning towards a stain of some sort. Not really sure what all is really out there . Going to have to take a trip to home depot/menards to take a lookTurned out really nice! Personally, I love the look of stained birch. Also, I think they have "color" stain which can look nice too. I have yet to see anyone disappointed with the Skar subs. Pretty nice daily subs imo.
