I've got two SA 15's, but would REALLY prefer to have 12's so I don't need such a massive box. If I wanted you to build them up into 12's would you need me to find baskets for them? @SPLaudio ;

You think I would get better output from you building it vs. a regular sa 12? I'm assuming yes but I gotta ask haha. I'll be using a kicker zx 2500.1 on them.

cost lil more but can use a 8 layer flat wound coil. have had them tested to take 47??rms clamped for long burps no prob even after 100...

I would be using them as my daily drivers and competing occasionally but no serious burps or anything like that. I'll PM you if i decide to go this route, thanks for the info!

from what i have tested mine plays lil lower freq but i havent done a thermal or db test to compare. the sa8v2 is a very solid woofer!
