It's still working, so I don't feel like tearing it apart not knowing what I'm doing yet.

yea the sub has to come apart.

i do alllllot of subs nobody else will touch and my biggest thing is i need pole od and top plate id.

Good to know. As soon as its stops working completely (again) I will tear into it. The tinsel pulled out of the cone a bit which is why it was failing before, but after supergluing it back in, it's been working just fine. It's only a matter of time before it goes belly up again.

It's actually quite amusing I must say. A friend of a friend was getting a little demo of mine and he had spent like 500$ on one of those big MTX 9500 or whatevers and heard my subs and **** his pants when I told him what they costed/how they sounded

Then again, his amp was screwed into his sealed box. So I was already like..meh.

Yup.. beating is the key word. Going strong for a year now. Still want to upgrade to 18's but havent really had the motivation to tear down the set up and sell em

Basically If you had the TS/FS specs and so forth.. trying to get a box designed for one.. and was hoping maybe you had or knew the specs on them...

and also.. on the VVX 12"s do you think you could mill out the motor to get a 3" coil to fit? or is that asking way to much out of that motor lol

sorry i dont have the specs.

ya cant bore out a 2.5" motor to make it a 3" the pole is too small. would cause all kinds of problems and be a really weak motor. i can take ur skar and double the rms though.
