Willy said i havent been enough of a pix ***** so i need to put up pix of what i am doing now.

poping the top plate on 10" type x motor so i can bore it out and but a lil bigger coil in there. the gap is tight but big enough to fit a nice 4 layer coil but the pole isnt tight to the former. by this i mean never build a sub where the coil can hit the top plate. if it gets nolinear and rubs the pole no damage but rubs the top plate big problems. so i will open up R .040" more so there is clearence. i have done this before to these motors and people had great results.

just playing around with my daily, i turn the box uprite so you could see the sub in action. it is a custom build off a sa10" its taking full power from the 1600.1 and not even getting warm.

its throwing about 2" but all within tunning ss filter on these rubi's are pretty tight.
