Can the plastic magnet cover be removed?

This I would like to know.. I have the same sub. Can't wait for my 15 to get here!

Edit: what would be my best way to break in this sub.. I haven't ever done this nor have I had time to look it up due to finals!

i doubt there is is slug cracked cause the mag cover would be busted. and yes that cover will come off, glued to the motor. something worth checking out though. the top plate can also come unglued re audio is known for that.

if there is no problem with the motor and nothing floating around in the mag cover making noise send it back to me I WILL PAY SHIPPING BOTH WAYS!

Ok. So I'm messing with it right now. The mag cover looks like it's hella attached to the bottom plate and if I try to pry at it it seems like it is separating the plates.. I wanna get this thing off but I don't wanna f up the motor

well he got back to me the top plate came unglued which like i said before a problem re has had for atleast 5yrs. this is beyond anything i can fix for free, its all on the manufacture. cant file a claim with ups because they will lol. a product is ment to be packaged where it can take a 3' drop and not damage. the plastic mag cover isnt damaged.

i feel bad for the guy but nothing i can do...

Any suggestions on what I should do now? I've spent over $340 on the sub, getting it reconed, and shipping back and forth. Wish I could go back in time and buy a better sub to begin with and would never have had to deal with this ****

Got my 15" this thing is a beaut! As a happy customer always says "product exceeds my expectations!" I cant wait to play with it!

I want a sub but I don't think I have the amp to push it. Single 12" but I only have a 5 channel amp for the sub, my CK6 and some 6X9's in the rear deck.

He doesnt have to build it to handle 4000 watts lol... He can build you anything to fit your needs...
