take a bolt and get it near the gap you will feel the force now try to get a top plate off and ur fingers could easily end up between the slugs and top plate. you would be lucky on a 9" if you just needed stiches after, nothing to mess with...

Just thought I'd add something to this. Much thanks to Corey aka SPLaudio for taking this jank old Lanzar motor and 15" frame from an old Shocker and turning them into something useful once again. Sub turned out great and he definitely went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I got a decent little sub out of these parts. Can't wait to actually hear it. He is gonna be seeing anything I have that needs work from now on.

I like the man's work, if I ever found some minty AQ 2.5 motors I had planned on getting some 8s done but never had luck.

i'll eventually find something for him to customize for me lol.

splaudio is my guy and to show my appreciation of the subs he made for me I'm displaying all his custom work. Anyone else have something to add, drop it in!8" with 10" basket and 8" spiders, crazy
