Hi there,
I just got my Pioneer SPH-DA360DAB for my 1999 BMW 530 ( aka pre-facelift BMW E39 ).
I hope you all know that Pioneers have "day" and "night" display brightness mode for headunit. For some reason once i enable auto-detection for these modes, these modes jump back and forth every like 10 seconds. That happens if the lights are are turned on to day lights or low-beams ( dont know the correct names for them in english.. anyhow.. not a "zero" position ). But if i do leave it at zero position, my headunit stays at "night" brightness mode, well, obviously i cant drive like that in the night.
Are there any workarounds for this issue ? I assume thats because of my pretty old car and as i believe, headunit auto-detects those brightnesses by some wire behind the unit itself.
