When i got my speeding ticket all i had to do is plead guilty and i got a total of $90 fine for going 17 over speed limit.

face the music and take the can-of-whoop-*** your old man is going to give you when you tell him "dad, i got a speeding ticket." remember, wear extra layers of briefs and pants to decrease spankings. i can't help you with similar advice if daddy does "face contacts" except sway left, right and punch left, right punch lef, right punch. if daddy is a right hander watch his left jab with a right hook follow up. those hurt.

well...my dad found out today..i still havent talked to him...but i think whtas gonna happen..is we might get an attorney to get it reduced an try to help out with it..i dono how its gonna work out..but im hoping for the best

What was the max fine? It cannot possibly be high enough to hire an attorney as a minor with no previous infractions. Seriously if you look nice and are polite to the judge and just tell him everything I can nearly guarantee charges get cut in half.

yea I would not waste my money, like I said before go to court, or call the da and find out your options. If no call works you can still go to court talk to the da if you dont like it and they try to screw you then you can plead not guilty, and then hire a attorny if needed. But odds are you are going to prob pay 50-100 on average, in ny court fees are 35 or 25. If you hire a attorny your gona pay more than 100 to have him reduce it to still prob a moving violation. If you talk to the da he might give you something that is not a moving violation but you might have to pay alittle more cash but its well worth it cause you get no points and your insurance wont find out.

if you get an attorney I would strongly recommend a public defender for the cost, but as most people are saying....there really is no reason.

This isnt a traffic violation but I won my case for minor consumption using a public defender. $190 for a minor would have been alot more than $28 it cost as a co pay for an attorney //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

will everyone quit telling him it will only be about $100. The price of tickets is different in every state. The last 2 tickets I had to pay $150 for a 1 point violation speeding ticket which I was going 12 over th limit, and like $270 for a 2 point violation from when I ran my car off the road to avoid an accident. He was going 27 over which would be like at least a 3 point+ violation in this state. 25-30 over runs somewhere in the 300-400+ doller range in this state.

here in california it depends how fast u were going.. the faster the more. i went over 90 and the price was like 400 i think. and you are NOT going to get an attorney. that would be pointless unless youve got a **** good reason like youre a male thats pregnant.

its 287..an i think i said 27 over erlier on the thread..but its 37..i though it was a 50..but it was a 30..an i was goin 77..my moms been tryin to talk to the courts seein wat we can do..anyone in texas dealt with this before?

uhh.. if its a 30 mph zone and youre doing 77 that makes you 47 mph over the limit bud.
