Dude, tell your parents, have them call the judge or DA to see if you can work something out. Go up there with your parents and plead no contest and try to get it deferred from your record then play nice during your probationary period. Also dont argue and be real remorseful for what you did. If the judge ask you what your future plans are be ready to tell him you are trying to get into a certain college for a certain profession.
Last thing you want is trying to take care of it without telling your parents and then them finding out from the insurance company when your premium goes up or you get dropped for having several points against your record.
Trust me, This is your best bet with a 27 over ticket. I have had a ton of different tickets since I was a teenager with alot of them being pointable violations and yet I have still managed to keep a spottless record. Not to mention my first 4 tickets I got in one day from running an oncomming Highway Patrolman off the road while speeding and passing in a no-pass zone on a 2 lane highway + no seatbelts. That trooper was pissed at me for that. I still had to pay most of it but at least I had my liscense and kept it off my record.
