specs for type r subs

what year type r is it?

not totaly sure on this but 1000rms watts i think is going to be too much for the sub, i found the type r performs very well on approx 300-500rms watts

well i had an 05 type r 12 in a 2.25 cubic foot ported to 32 hz running with 1100 rms and it got plenty loud. They can deffinitely handle more than the rated power. About the boz question the 2 tens would probably be louder

It also depends what you mean by "louder". Louder on the mic is alot different than feeling "loud" generally lower tuning seems "louder" but it isnt always really more db's. Any of the larger boxes you reccomended would be much better than a smaller or higher tuned box if you want it to seem "loud". If your going for only SPL Drags then tune it higher. But still make the box on the larger side.

Its the 2006 model. My buddy got some extra boxes from subzone usa and Before he sends me a box I wanted to know which would sound better in a honda civic coupe. and which box would getter louder and deeper.
