I have a single cab truck and I want if to hit as hard as can with the hardest hitting subs on the market, powered by an equally matched hard hitting quality amp. I also want to have the clarities of the mids and highs. What subs as well as mids and highs do you recommend. Also, what the specs for building a subwoofer enclosure for 10 in. subs. I plan to make my custom sub enclosure triangular so that I can hit hard and still put the chair all the way back...... thanks

id suggest floating around for a few weeks, then knowing a little bit about what you are talking about, then ask SPECIFIC questions - AFTER you narrow down what you think are good products.

i dont think an oppinion of somone else is going to tell you what your limits are. and box specs arent always free //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/popcorn.gif.32dd9e22fd77e77bc3c907062768fcd2.gif

but, welcome to the boards, just SEARCH before posting questions, try to awnser them yourself using the SEARCH button and google.com (among other ways) before posting genaric questions- these usually turn into flame wars.

Please make the question as abstract and open as possible. There is no single hardest hitting sub out there, its all about how you set it up. Personally, i would reccomend the Brahma 10" from http://www.adireaudio.com . Clarity of mids and highs is all based on opinion but i hear the CDT's are good and you can pm TPLAYA07 and he can give you a deal on them. Most amps dont hit hard, actually amps dont hit at all. just find an amp that will work with the impeadence of the sub and provide the RMS you want. as far as the enclosure. find the dimensions you want then use the formula for area of a triangular prism then plug that area plus the area of the cross section of the port (i assume you want ported to hit harder, although i'm not sure you'l have the room for it.) into the formula in JL's tutorial section for ported enclosures. hope that helps some.
