I just installed kicker speakers into my truck. I made sure and had very strong connections to the speaker wires. I have a four speaker system, and my left two speakers are way quieter and sound way worse than my right side. I think maybe a polarity issue, but where? Thank you.

Im using an aftermarket head unit, its the Sony Xav-ax150. My speakers were completely blown before. The left side was always quieter, but i didnt think anything of it because the speakers were shot. It does not have anything to do with the speakers though. And yes, i made sure my balance/fade was in the middle. 2004 Sierra 1500 Ext cab.
I am not using an amp, as of right now. The HU is a Sony XAV-Ax150. Kicker DS series speakers, 6.5" in front, 4x6 in back. 2004 Sierra 1500. I replaced the speakers because they were blown from previous owner. The left side was always quieter, it has nothing to do with HU or speakers. Yes balance/fade is in the middle. I am going to trace back the speaker wire to see if there is any issue this afternoon.
Inside above the e-brake there is a harness that connects to all the door's components. Worth checking. Also just in case, check that you did not connect the 6.5s to the tweeter's wire, it may have an inline capacitor. If nothing pops up, check the wiring inside the accordion between the cab and door frame.
