Speakers stopped working on day 2?

Hmm maybe I should put a real pic of me, but we gotta learn somewhere, right?

So I changed the wiring as per my conversation with Alpine (see below) and its weird because it worked but its only recognizing the left side of the headunit regardless of where I plug into the amp. This is just so strange, nothing seems to make sense.

Do I need to use Y adapters since its a 4chan amp and im bridging the power to 2 channels?

Inputs

Channel 1 - Left

Channel 2 - Right

Channel 3 - empty

Channel 4 - empty

Speakers

Channel 1 - Left POS

Channel 2 - Left NEG

Channel 3 - Right POS

Channel 4 - Right NEG

Input channel selection (have a choice of 1+3/2+4 , 3/4, and 1/2)

Set to 1/2
