Speakers not working

Well, I know my speaker isn't blown, but it still isn't working. I have the PPI 356CS components, and one of the speakers will not make any noise at all.

I have reason to believe that the wire terminal is messed up but I have no idea how to get to it and do work on it. Can anyone provide any insight? It would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hook that speaker up to the other side and see if it makes any sound, if it doesn't then that speaker has a bad coil. If it does then check over your wirings and take a closer look at the crossover and make sure there isn't any cold solder joints. Crossovers are fairly easy to repair.

I did do that, it didn't make any noise on either crossover, I don't think it's a bad coil because when I push down on the cone it comes right back up and the voice coil isn't frozen. Then again I could be wrong.

A bad coil doesn't necessarily need a locked up cone, you might have an open coil or a bad connection somewhere between the coil and the tinsel leads. One of my old Coustic PowerLogic woofers was broken from the factory, the coil doesn't have any impedance readings at all.
