speakers exposed to sunlight?

I took the factory speaker grill cover out of my car so I can watch my speakers in action and just flat out admire their looks.

But they are directly exposed to sunlight. Its been like this for several months with seemingly no issues. Atleast not yet. Is leaving them exposed with no grill covers a bad idea?

okay. i put the factory grill covers back on. i left them loose though so i can easily take them back off.

hopefully no damage was done. they still sound and look the same as the day i got them
