Speakers cut out after a second

Hi

I just got a new car and brought a new pioneer headunit to put in. I had it working fine for about a day and then suddenly while driving the speakers stopped working but the headunit was still working fine. I checked all the connections and they are fine, but now everytime I turn my car on to accessory my rear right speaker only pops and then cuts off. I think that the speakers could of had there connections touching some of the car metal too which may of caused the internal amp to blow or something???

I even tried pulling my headunit out and hooking speakers up directly to the wires coming out of the headunit. When i did this none of them worked except for the rear right which popped again. Have I blown some sort of internal fuse in my headunit, how do I check for this?. The unit is about 3 months old.

Any help is apreciated.

i don't know 2 many stores that will switch it out same day after 3 months... but you can try... sounds like you have a short in a wire or a shorted speaker... that could have fried the internal amp... unplug the headunit for a while and take the fuse out and put it back in... when you plug the radio up with the car on does the right rear still pop? if so you need 2 cut right rear away at the harness and tape it up until you fix the wire or replace the speaker
